Day 1: Casablanca – Meknes – Volubilis and Fes:
Start Your 8 day desert tour from Casablanca to Marrakech, we land at Casablanca Airport. Our initial visit takes us to the impressive Hassan 2 Mosque, followed by a delightful lunch at Rick’s Café. Post-lunch, the road leads us to Fes, weaving through the historical sites of Volubilis and Meknes.
Continuing our exploration, we delve into the Roman ruins of Volubilis, where mosaics dating back to 25bc are remarkably preserved. The day concludes with a comfortable overnight stay at our chosen Hotel/Riad, setting the tone for the captivating adventure ahead.
Day 2: Explore Fes city:
The day kicks off with breakfast in the Riad, setting the stage for an immersive exploration of Fes, the cultural capital of Morocco. Strolling through its alleys, we begin our journey at the Royal Palace, visit the historic Jewish Quarter, and explore the first Mellah built in Morocco.
Ensuring a thorough experience of cultural and historical gems, we visit the iconic Al Qaraouine University, the oldest in the region, and the Tanneries. Post-lunch, a visit to a ceramic factory and a panoramic view of the entire Medina of Fes offer additional delights. The evening unfolds with a relaxing drink in the new city, and overnight accommodation awaits in the Riad.
Day 3: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – ziz Valley – Merzouga:
Following a hearty breakfast, our journey from Fes to Merzouga begins with a drive through the enchanting landscapes. Ifrane, often called the “Switzerland of Morocco,” marks our first stop. Continuing through the famous cedar forest of Azrou, where Barbary apes may be spotted, the scenery transforms as we approach Errachidia. The journey unfolds via the Tizi Ntalghamt pass and the lush Ziz Valley, offering panoramic views. As day turns to night, we find repose in our chosen Hotel/Riad.
Day 4: Merzouga Desert and the Camel Ride:
