Day 1: From Marrakech to Dades Gorges

Our journey begins with a meeting in Marrakech, Our guide will be there to ensure a smoth pickup from the airpot or your Read/Hotel. As we set off towards the Dades Gorges. The road takes us through the awe-inspiring High Atlas Mountains, where we’ll be treated to panoramic vistas of this rugged landscape. Along the way, we’ll make a stop at the iconic Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site and a living testament to ancient Moroccan architecture.

This historical marvel is steeped in culture, and your visit will reveal its intricate designs and the stories etched into its mud-brick walls. Our next destination is the Film Atlas Studio in Ouarzazate, often referred to as the “Hollywood of Morocco,” where you can get a glimpse behind the scenes of the Moroccan film industry. Before concluding our day, we’ll explore the fascinating Kasbah of Ouarzazate, an architectural gem that offers insights into Morocco’s rich history. As the day draws to a close, we’ll find respite for the night in the enchanting Dades Gorges.

Day 2: Dades Gorges to Merzouga

The second day of our adventure begins with an exploration of the breathtaking Todra Gorges, a canyon adorned with towering rock walls that will leave you in awe of nature’s beauty. Our journey continues to Erfoud, a town famous for its intriguing fossils. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to discover these ancient remnants and delve into the secrets they hold. Our journey begins with a visit to Khamlia, a village renowned for its rich Dar Gnawa culture and traditional music. As the sun begins its descent, we return to Merzouga to enjoy an unforgettable camel ride. This serene journey through the rolling dunes will take you to our luxury desert camp, where you’ll find comfort in the heart of the Sahara. Berber music fills the air as the stars light up the night sky, setting the perfect atmosphere for an evening of enchantment. A delectable dinner under the desert stars completes this magical day.

Day 4: Merzouga – Agdez – Ouarzazate

Rise and shine early to witness the breathtaking sunrise over the Sahara Desert. This is your chance to savor the tranquility of the dunes and even try your hand at some exhilarating sandboarding. After this magical start to the day, we bid farewell to Merzouga and begin our journey back to Ouarzazate.

Our route takes us through Agdez, with a series of stops in various Berber villages along the way. These stops provide a window into Moroccan history and culture, as you learn from the warm-hearted locals and explore the traditions that have shaped their lives.

By evening, we find ourselves back in Ouarzazate, where you’ll spend the night in a charming local riad, immersed in the authentic ambiance of this historic town.

Day 5: Ouarzazate – Marrakech

As our adventure comes to a close, we venture on the final leg of our journey. Depending on your flight schedule, we’ll make our way back to Marrakech. Along the way, we’ll make stops at local restaurants, allowing you to savor the flavors of Moroccan cuisine one last time. Whether you choose to be dropped off at your accommodation or at the airport, you’ll carry with you the memories of an unforgettable 5-day exploration of Morocco’s most remarkable landscapes and cultures.
