From there, we wind through picturesque landscapes, stopping at the captivating Todra Gorges and the Valley of Roses, eventually reaching the enchanting city of Ouarzazate. The route continues through Ait Ben Haddou, Marrakech, and the legendary Casablanca, each with its unique charm. The journey concludes with a leisurely day in Asilah before returning to Tangier, offering an immersive experience of Morocco’s rich history, diverse landscapes, and vibrant culture.

Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival in Tangier:
Upon your arrival in Tangier, you will be warmly welcomed. The day will commence with a visit to the beautiful city of Tangier and its ancient medina. Subsequently, we’ll head to the hotel for a delightful dinner.
Day 2: Tangier – Tetouan – Chefchaouen:
Following a satisfying breakfast, our 12 days Desert tour from Tangier to Chefchaouen begins. En route to Chefchaouen, we will make a pit stop in Tetuan. Chefchaouen, with its enchanting Andalusian architecture and iconic blue and white houses, awaits us. Our evening will be spent in a charming riad.
Day 3: Chefchaouen – Roman Ruins Volubilis – Meknes – Fes:
Leaving the northern region behind, our journey takes us deeper into the heart of the country. Traversing the Rif forest, we’ll explore the Roman ruins of Volubilis and Meknes, a historic city flourishing under Sultan Moulay Ismail. Our exploration will include sites like Bab Mansour and Dar EL Maa El Granero. The day culminates in Fes, where we’ll spend the night.
Day 4: Fes – Fes – (Visit with Local Guide):
Finally in Fes, the cultural and religious capital, we kickstart the day with a delicious breakfast. A guided tour will lead us through iconic places such as Madersas Cornices, Charrinha Bouinania, Attarin Souks, Fes El Jadid, and the Karaouine Mosque, home to the world’s oldest university, recognized as a Universal Cultural Heritage by UNESCO. Dinner and accommodation will be in a riad.
Day 5: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Merzouga:
After immersing ourselves in the sights of Fes, our destination is Merzouga. On the way, we’ll pass through Ifrane, Azrou, Tizi n’Talghamet, Errachidia, and the Erfoud palm grove. The evening in Merzouga will feature camel rides in the desert, offering a stunning sunset view amidst Berber chants. An unforgettable night in a Khaima awaits, with dinner under the starlit sky.
Day 6: Merzouga – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley – Ouarzazate:
After a delightful breakfast and a refreshing shower, our journey takes us to Ouarzazate. Our first stop is Rissani, where we’ll explore its vibrant souk. We then continue through the Jorf palm grove, Ksar Touroug, Tinjedad, Tinghir, the breathtaking Todra Gorges, the Boumalen Dades valley, Kelaa Me Gouna, and the Valley of Roses. Dinner and accommodation will be in a Riad in Ouarzazate.
Day 7: Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Telouet – Marrakech:
Leaving Ouarzazate, we embark on our journey to Marrakech. Along the way, we’ll visit the renowned Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site, the kasbah of Telouet, and cross the majestic Tizi n Tichka pass at 2260 meters, offering panoramic views. Upon reaching Marrakech, we’ll settle in for the night.
Day 8: Explore Marrakech:
This entire day is dedicated to exploring Marrakech. We’ll immerse ourselves in its monuments and special places, including the famous Jemaa el Fnaa square, a vibrant hub of activity and storytelling. Marrakech’s charm is often attributed to its riads, providing an authentic experience that we’ll savor during our stay.
Day 9: Marrakech – Casablanca:
On the ninth day of our Desert tour from Tangier, we set our sights on Casablanca, the legendary city on the Atlantic Ocean. Renowned for its captivating architecture, we’ll visit the Corniche and the Hassan II Mosque, the second-largest mosque globally. Evening accommodation will be in a hotel or riad.
Day 10: Casablanca – Rabat – Asilah:
Transitioning from the economic to the administrative capital, we explore Rabat’s Royal Palace, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, the Hassan Tower, and the Kasbah Oudaya. In the afternoon, our journey continues to Asilah, where we’ll enjoy dinner and accommodation.
Day 11: Asilah:
A leisurely day unfolds after breakfast, allowing us the freedom to pursue various activities, from sightseeing to shopping or simply relaxing. We’ll spend the night in Asilah at a hotel or riad.
Day 12: Asilah – Tangier:
As our 12 days Desert tour from Tangier concludes, we’ll head back to Tangier after breakfast, marking the end of this immersive and enriching exploration of Morocco.
